A highly suspenseful paranormal romance, this novel keeps the tension riding high. Sara has had a less than stellar past, and regrettably, there are people who won't let her forget it. Garrison is buried in troubles with his ex-wife leaving him, the damage and thefts of his property and the on-going harassment from the Brand family. It becomes clear that the central point of all the trouble is Hank Brand, and he appears to have an incredible hold over the rest of his family. As Garrison and Sara begin trying to iron out some of the problems, the troubles escalate, drawing Sara into the melee. The book is a standalone, but does close with a number of unanswered questions. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
